TRADE FINANCE OFFICER (Filled)

Import

• The Trade Finance Officer (TFO) issues and manages all Import-LC’-s
• He/she is the main contact person for the banks, a.o. financing cost of the B-t-B-transactions,… for the in-house-traders, the file-managers and the suppliers  

Export-

• The TFO is in contact with the banks regarding LC-advising and information in case of discrepancies. Within certain limits, the TFO can decide autonomously. 
• the TFO manages all discounts foreseen within the LC 
• He/she is the contact person for the file-managers, the in-house-traders and the customers 

Additionally, the TFO can be involved in the management of the hedging-contracts within the framework of the transactions and he/she enters all the data of the LC’-s and contracts into the reporting system

It is important that the TFO is interested in learning new payment methods, such as BPO and VAB and in acquiring info regarding technological innovations such as Block Chain,…

Antwerp

• 4 – 7 years of experience within Trade Finance. Familiar with the valid conditions within Trade Finance and fixing of prices 
• Teamplayer and result driven
• Analytical and problem solver, who is capable to detect business opportunities within the existing customer relationship.  
• Familiar with MS Office and LC’-processing tools. 
• Trilingual: very good knowledge of English and Dutch. Additional languages, a.o. French and Spanish are a strong asset.
